This is a DIY unwelded kit and will not come pre-fabricated.

 

Designed for 03-24 4Runner, 05-23 Tacoma (6 lug), FJ Cruiser, and GX470 models.

 

This weld-it-yourself suspension system increases your wheel mounting surface (WMS) width by 7" total and is designed to achieve 16" of wheel travel with modified long travel CV axles (sold seperately). This kit is compatible with 2WD and 4WD models and is designed for 8" travel coilovers and 8" travel bypass shocks (shocks sold seperately). With flat, offset J-Arm pivots, this kit has effectively no anti-dive and allows a driver to "set" the front height at speed with brake modulation. It also allows relatively rapid caster adjustment for those wanting to change around alignment settings quickly. Because this kit utilizes heim joints on the UCAs, factory style lower cam alignment can be eliminated if you choose to do so. Toyota alignment cams are notorious for slipping on jumps and rocks, so many people opt to remove them and run replacable tabs or frame plating with round holes to cover the factory cam slotted holes.

 

This kit requires frame modification to install as the upper control arm mounts are relocated to a new structure that must be welded to the frame rails. This new structure does not interfere with OEM style upper control arms and does NOT restrict you to J-Arm style upper control arms permanently. This kit is designed for 24.5" extended length shocks and should not be used with other length coilovers without switching to different frame mounting. It could theoretically/temporarily be driven with OEM struts or aftermarket extended travel coilovers in a pinch. If you choose to run a bypass shock, the Filthy 8" Bypass Tower (sold deperately) or custom hoop/structure is required.
